Note: For the best experience, students will be expected to complete lash theory training online before in-person training day which will be sent to them upon signing up at no additional cost. This training requires students to perform a lash set on a live model. We encourage students to bring their own model but if there are troubles finding a model, we will do our best to find one for you. More information on this will be included in an email after you place your order.

What You’ll Learn:  

During this action-packed, full-day workshop, you'll have the opportunity to witness four viral wispy lash styles come to life through live demos before diving in and creating your own masterpiece on a live model under the guidance of Lost Artistry’s elite level lash educators! The four unique styles our educators will create are:

1. Exaggerated Strip Lash Style / Wet Lash / Anime / Manhua techniques (dramatic spike building techniques)

For the artist who wants to keep up with the trends and create viral-worthy content. Dive into the newly emerging world of dramatized spiked lash styles. Learn how to make your spikes stand out, how to cluster spikes to create the illusion of one large spike without compromising natural lash health, how to lash in layers with intention and how to ensure your spikes look clean and well directed. This style requires precision, advanced layering, fanning skills, placement, direction, glue control and a new level of creativity. Don’t worry, we’ll guide you every step of the way!

2. Wispy Hybrid 

This demo is ideal for the artist who has a clientele base that prefers wearable wispiness that will LAST and look good as they fall out. During application, our educator will bend classics with volume lashes to create a textured, soft, and voluminous look. While we work through this look, you will learn to achieve the perfect balance between fullness and lightness for a natural, yet full lash line using our unique feathering technique, layer blending and more. As we work through each set, you will learn techniques for manipulating this mapping to suit any clients facial features.

3. Wispy Wet Lash (Fox Eye Design)

Master the sought-after wet lash look while fundamentally understanding the impacts that mapping shape and placement, curl use + blending, lengths and direction have when creating a perfect LIFTED fox/cat eye lash effect. For this demo, our educator will use a wide range of lengths from 5-16mm+ lengths while blending unusual curls together to demonstrate how to create a true cat eye lash finish that doesn’t droop on the ends. 

4. Half Lash Set   

Explore the growing trend of ½ lash sets, designed to speed up your lash services while still delivering a full, voluminous look with just 1-2 layers of coverage. In this demo, we’ll take a deep dive into the power of lash layering, teaching you how to identify and work with lash layers efficiently, without compromising the final result. You'll learn how to save time without sacrificing quality, achieving a beautiful, well-covered lash look in less time.

1. Bottom Lash Application + Mappings

2. 1 Tweezer technique - Inner corner coverage

3. Master coverage without covering all natural lashes

4. Speed Lashing Techniques 

5. Lash Layering techniques

6. How to identify imperfections in your sets and fix them before the client leaves (post-lash set inspection)

How It Works:  

Step 1: Online Training

All students who sign up will gain access to Lost Artistry’s Wispy Lash Webinar and Retention Webinar upon signing up for this In-Person Training. Our educators highly recommend you go through all of the information in each of these online courses before joining our one day workshop in order to get the most out of our training day together. 

Step 2: Training Day - Live Consultation and Social Media Tips

We will begin the day with an immersive run through on how our educators perform lash consultation and create a unique, tailored lash map before the clients even walk in the door, followed by tips and tricks on how to take social media-worthy content using a smartphone. 

Step 3: Training Day - Live Demos

Time to dive into our practical workshops. At this time, expert lash educators will demonstrate each of the four unique lash styles on live models. These demonstrations will give you insight into the techniques that will help you achieve each style to perfection. Students can mingle between artists, watching each unique technique with the ability to take videos, ask questions and absorb all of the secrets to achieving perfect lash results first-hand. 

Step 4: Hands-On Practice  

After observing the demos, you will move on to practicing the styles on your own model (which you’ll provide). This is where the magic happens. You will have the opportunity to apply what you’ve learned, choosing the style you resonate most with on your live model under the guidance of our lash educators. We will help you every step of the way, providing personalized tips and tricks, correcting techniques to refine your skills and answering any questions that may arise with the intent of achieving a flawless finish. With a ratio of one educator to every two students, you’ll receive the focused attention you need to elevate your skills.

Step 5: Ongoing Support

Upon completion of your live model, our educators will inspect your lash set to identify any areas you may need more practice on post-training while showing you how you can identify these pain points yourself for sets to come. At this time, we will not leave you to troubleshoot them alone, we will provide helpful video tutorials and open our DM’s to you anytime questions arise post-training. We encourage you to continue sharing lash after photos with us for inspection and will make ourselves available to help you with mapping or general lash questions, anytime! 

 

Step 6: Video Tutorials

Due to the intimacy of this training, we can tailor the class to cover any topics our students request. Before training day, if you have any questions you would like answered in class, reach out to us and we will do our best to accommodate. We recognize that as we work through the class, questions will pop up organically that we may not have time to cover on training day. If this is the case, we will keep note of all questions and provide tutorials to those who need them <3
